A new twist on the ever popular BLT. This version uses both Butterball® Turkey Bacon and Smoked Turkey Dinner Sausage, as well as, red onions. Double turkey provides double the flavor!
Combine mayonnaise and mustard. Refrigerate until ready to use.
Cut sausage vertically into 4 equal links. Cut each link horizontally to open and lay flat. Do not cut all the way through. Cook cut links in large skillet on medium heat, starting with the cut side down, for 3 to 4 minutes or until golden brown. Turn pieces over and cook 3 minutes to an internal temperature of 165 °F. Remove from skillet.
Cook turkey bacon according to microwave package directions.
Meanwhile, spread one side of each slice of bread with mayonnaise mixture. Top 4 slices with 1 link each of the sausage. Top with lettuce, tomatoes, red onion and bacon. Cover with second slice of bread, securing with wooden picks. Cut diagonally in half and serve.
