4 Butterball Original Seasoned Frozen Turkey Burgers
4 burger buns
Lettuce, as desired
8oz of cream cheese, room temperature
2 red bell peppers, finely diced
1 orange bell pepper, finely diced
1 jalapeno, seeds removed and finely diced
1 tbsp butter
1 1⁄4 cup of sugar
2 tbsp red pepper flakes
1⁄2 tsp salt
1⁄3 cup apple cider vinegar
Salt and pepper, to season
Directions
In a large pot over medium-low heat, add the butter, finely diced jalapeno, and finely diced red and orange bell peppers. Mix to combine and add the salt. Saute until softened and moisture from the peppers have evaporated, about 10 minutes.
Once water has evaporated, add in apple cider vinegar, sugar, and red pepper flakes. Stir to combine and bring to a rapid boil, stirring constantly. Boil for 10-15 minutes until mixture begins to thicken. Note: it will thicken more as it cools. Remove from the stove and set aside to cool.
Heat a cast iron skillet over medium-low heat. Add a little bit of oil and add in Butterball Original Seasoned Frozen Turkey Burgers. Season with salt and pepper. Work in batches, as to not overcrowd the pan. Cook on one side for 9 minutes, flip, and cook on the other side for 7 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165℉.
To assemble your burger, toast your buns as desired and add 2 tablespoons of cream cheese to the bottom bun. Add your turkey burger onto the cream cheese and add the pepper jelly as desired on top. Top with lettuce and the top bun and enjoy!
